Hello! I have no idea why I haven't found this community earlier! Fabulous idea, by the way. Let me introduce myself; I am a grad student earning an MA in Romance Languages and Lit, and a member of the Ecclesial Carmelite Movement, which started in Italy and so far has only one English-speaking chapter in the US. I do a lot of volunteer translating texts from Italian to English. Carmelite spirituality is my new-found "home" within Catholicism, discovered throught the Movement, which is designed to make Carmelite spirituality accessible to lay people. Right now I'm nowhere near other members of the Movement because I just moved to my new school. It's very exciting to have found this community! God bless!

Welcome! This community doesn't have a lot of activity, but around the big feast days one of the good Carmelites tends to post something very nice, whether a novena or otherwise. Though I am going to be an Augustinian myself, Carmelite spirituality is very dear to my heart. Good luck to you, and God bless!
